Balls, Walls, and Courts

Often overlooked when designing a playground is the use of vertical space. Interacting with walls was a major part of our childhood and as far as children are concerned, good walls can be found potentially anywhere; of course, the building's owners often have other views on the subject! Our ball walls can be installed almost anywhere in the playground and are extremely tough and durable. They can be single or double sided and can be supplied with targets, shapes, goals and stumps which are engraved into the timber, avoiding the need to repaint. The key thing about a wall is that if you throw a ball against it, it bounces back - this obviously provides all kinds of opportunities for solitary or group play.
