Creating a buzz about insects!
National Insect Week will be back in summer 2008, giving people of all ages the opportunity to learn more about the most fascinating creatures on our planet.
As you know - we love insects at Hand Made Places and our Bee, Butterfly, Dragonfly play sculptures make wonderful additions to nature trails, sensory and wildlife gardens. For nature lovers wanting to create an outdoor classroom or quiet area in the playground our virtual ponds are unique and offer shade and seating solutions
National Insect Week 2008 will take place from Monday 23rd to Sunday 29th June
The week-long programme of events will be launched on Monday 23 June at
London's Chelsea Physic Garden and over the coming months, the latest news and event listings, will be shown on the website www.nationalinsectweek.co.uk look out for free Education Resource Packs.
