Free Consultation & Design Service
Our consultants are able to combine application and technical understanding with their unique sense of design, atmosphere and vision for adventure playgrounds. They are happy to visit all prospective customers, listen to their needs and then offer advice on location, design and ongoing grounds development requirements.
Manufacturing
All of our play equipment conforms to EN1176 and is manufactured in Hampshire by our team of skilled craftsmen.
Installation
We can offer a national installation service and are fully conversant with safe working practices and risk assessments on all sites. We carry £10 million public liability insurance and because of the nature of our work conduct CRB checks as a matter of course on all employees entering school grounds.
Supply Only
We are happy to supply goods for self-installation and all equipment will come supplied with installation and maintenance instructions.
Inspection & Maintenance & Spare Parts
We offer a full playground inspection, maintenance and repair service. We are also able to supply a variety of spare parts for your playgrounds e.g. replacement rope work.
Safer Surfacing
Impact absorbing surfaces are a crucial element to any play area and all of our play surfacing is laid to comply with EN1177. Hand Made Places offer the following surfacing options:
- Nottsward Childsplay™ authorised installers
- Hard wood chips
- Sand
- Impact absorbing grass rubber matting
- Wet pour
Playground Markings
Playgrounds can be brightened by painting a variety of board games, puzzles, patterns, rainbows, mazes and other designs. Children have fun inventing their own games or simply following wiggly lines or pathways of footprints.
Bespoke Design
We offer a bespoke design service where together with the client we are able to explore the realms of the imagination, creating unique solutions to your play area needs.
