Shelters & Shades
Children and young people are often outside during the middle of the day. So providing sufficient shade, or rain-cover, for outdoor spaces in schools is very important. We hope that the following structures, along with those in our outdoor classroom section, will provide welcome relief on a hot summers day and thereby increase the amount of quality outdoor playtime year round and promote sun safe behaviour.
As well as providing sun protection our pergolas, gazebos and playground dividers are becoming increasingly popular as they create cool, peaceful social spaces for quiet or passive play away from the more active play areas.
Beautifully styled these shelters come in a variety of sizes and can be used as story circles, amphitheatres, stages and outdoor classrooms during spring, summer and autumn months.
