Totem Poles, Sensory Poles & Finger Poles

Our enormously popular totems, sensory and finger posts may be used in a variety of ways. They make unique class assembly points, help develop orientation skills and in gaining an understanding of ones bearing in relation to the environment.

Initially designed as sensory posts to use in our sensory gardens & planters, we quickly began receiving requests for totem poles to be engraved with school emblems, logos, animals, characters from favourite stories and other current school projects. We now have a standard range of totems, shown below, however for a little extra cost are happy to design new totems, possibly in conjunction with one of our workshops, with a theme of your choice using either our own or designs created by the children.

Our sensory posts add considerable interest and something special to a nature or sensory garden. Designed to be interactive and not just ornamental some have spy holes, finger mazes and textured sections.
