Families in a Hampshire village have welcomed the creation of a new play area designed by Hand Made Places.
The playground replaces outdated equipment at Clift Meadow in Bramley.
Bramley Parish Council selected Hand Made Places to carry out the upgrade works following feedback on the proposals from residents.
Youngsters can now enjoy endless adventures in the park which includes a wide range of inclusive equipment to encourage physical and imaginative play.
At the centre of the playground is a Kinglade Activity Centre complete with slide, bridge, ladder and multi-level platforms.
Older children can test their agility skills on the Hawk’s Nest, a challenging timber tangle that is designed to get young people moving while honing their balance and co-ordination.
A traditional swing set, for young and old, is also included.
The physical play equipment is complemented with a series of activity panels.
This includes a Woodland Finger Maze and an Ocean Finger Maze, bringing a sensory element to the playground for all children to enjoy, as well as a Dizzy Disc and Animal Shapeshifter.
A beautiful butterfly sculpture, hand crafted in our North Staffordshire timber workshop where we build our play equipment, watches over the park.
Clift Meadow was bequeathed to the parish council and provides facilities for community benefit.
The new playground was funded by the Basingstoke and Deane Local Infrastructure Fund as well as the parish council.
The £43,500 programme of works by Hand Made Places includes a range of seating so parents, grandparents and carers can enjoy a trip to the park with their little ones.
The timber benches and picnic table are situated in the play area for easy supervision, with all equipment safely enclosed behind picket fencing with access and exit gates.
The overall scheme included bound rubber mulch safety surfacing with the groundworks and installation carried out by our teams of experts.
As part of the Broxap group of companies, Hand Made Places was also able to design, manufacture and install two Derby Standard litter bins to keep the play area ship shape for all users.
