Hand Made Places recently installed playground equipment at Park View Primary Academy in Leeds. The new outdoor play equipment is used to encourage physical play, and provide a new innovative way of learning in early years pupils.
A small trim trail has been installed which includes a balance beam, stepping stones, and a wobble bridge that has slats suitable for early years students. This equipment allows pupils to have fun whilst engaging in physical active play, and developing their social interaction and communication skills. The area was recently used in the school to enhance outdoor learning activities. The trim tail allowed pupils to engage in role play and encouraged team work.
A bespoke play mound was also installed, along with a stainless steel slide. This play mound helps to develop their coordination skills as they climb up to the top of the mound. It also encourages exploration as pupils crawl through the tunnel to find out what is on the other side!
