Case Study: Peel Park, Bradford.
Peel Park, Bradford.
Hand Made Places have created a brand new space for play at Peel Park in Bradford.
This beautiful green space has had an array of timber playground equipment installed, which has enhanced this already beautiful area.
The selected pieces of equipment follow a very natural theme, involving animal face totems and even a Bird’s Nest.
Children can explore the totems which incorporate the following animal faces:
After taking a look at these fun play totems they can then go on a scavenger hunt, and try to find any of the animals which they have seen.
But be careful not to touch them if you find them!
As well as these interesting totems, Hand Made Places have also installed the Wildlife, Woodland and Treespotter Finger Mazes.
These great pieces of playground equipment are fantastic, and offer children information into what they are seeing around them. These great mazes also encourage learning through play by incorporating key subjects like Maths and Science.
On top of all of this, there has also been a brand new trim trail installed too!
The balance beams, stilts, wobble bridge and leap frog allow children to explore their surroundings from a whole new perspective! And when they get to the end they may even find a S-s-s-Snake!
