Forest School Equipment

Forest School are an undoubted success in providing an alternative learning experience for our young people. Physical, social, emotional and spiritual learning flourishes as children in a new and challenging environment develop skills to bring out these learning outcomes.

For our children what’s not to like about investigating and discovering magical spaces that many of our youngsters don’t get the opportunity to experience anymore. Den building, studying nature, role play and simply being outdoors generates motivation, inspiration and responsibility to the school experience for staff and children alike.

A carefully planned programme linked to the curriculum brings with it stimuli and success. Self-esteem, independence and creativity can then also be reverted back into the classroom.

For many schools, they simply do not have the woodland in your grounds or nearby to embrace the opportunities Forest School furniture brings. They may have a few trees and/or a grassed area or no green space at all.
