A bridge is so much more than a crossing from A to B. At Hand Made Places, a wooden bridge becomes a test of agility and balance; a walkway to new experiences or an added dimension of play.

Our range of wooden playground bridges and walkways are built at our North Staffordshire timber workshop to the highest safety and quality standards. With a focus on creating playgrounds and outdoor areas for a wide range of needs and abilities, our collection of bridges and walkways are available in a variety of heights, shapes and dimensions.

For a physical challenge, our V-Bridge sets youngsters the task of getting from one end to the other without touching the ground. With just ropes for balance it throws down the gauntlet for children building their gross motor skills and confidence. The fun continues on the Wobble Bridge where coordination and control come into play. The Rope Walk takes things to the next level by throwing skills like ducking and weaving into the mix or install a Zig Zag for the ultimate crossing trial. These wooden bridges, walkways and crossings form part of the Hand Made Places Trim Trail and can be teamed up with other physical play equipment or simply installed as part of an exciting wide-ranging playground experience.

Play areas are instantly enhanced with the addition of the low level Wave Bridge. Accessible to wheelchairs, bikes and trikes, the Wave bridge can form a pathway from one activity to the next, connecting groups and delivering unique ways to move about the playground. Meanwhile our Arch Bridge is a brilliant way to welcome children into their play area. Team it up with imaginative surfacing and playground markings to form a play village, sparking curiosity and role play among children.
