Hand Made Places recently installed a selection of trim trailplayground equipment and playground markings at Thorne Brook Primary School. The primary school based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, wanted to promote outdoor physical play.

A Mini Ashbury Play Unit, which includes a variety of challenges was installed alongside the trim trail. The Mini Ashbury is a low level play unit which includes a scramble net, trapeze rings and a traverse wall. It provides an opportunity for pupils to engage in active play and develop their skills.

The trim trail consisted of a selection of products including a Wobble Bridge, a Twist Net, a Vertical Scramble Net, traverse walls and swing steps. Stepping stones were also used throughout the trim trail. The trim trail was completed with bound rubber mulch to create a safety surface.

Buddy Bench was installed alongside the trim trail providing an area for children to socialise and with each other, helping to develop friendships.

As well as the trim trail, Hand Made Places were also requested to complete playground markings on the school playground. Playground markings included a netball court, which can be used for PE lessons, an activity trail, circle hopscotch and a 1-100 number grid.
